challenges in our life why not the 90 day health challenge?

Published February 27, 2012 by Hina

we have many challenges in our lives, from the time we were little to the time we are today. When we were learning to walk that was our challenge we didn’t give up, we kept trying till we got it right. When we learned to tie our laced shoes from the velcro ones, wow we must have felt like we were growing up to tie our own shoelaces..that was our challenge… then when we were going to school, and learning our alphabets, and numbers, and learning the concepts of forming our words into sentences and reading for the first time on our own without assistance..that was our challenge.
Learning to ride a bike, skateboard, roller skate, or rollerblade, skiing, snowboarding, all the many sports in our life that was our challenge.
Learning to bake, cook, how to dress ourselves, take our own baths and showers without our parents assisting us, that was our own challenges.
Learning to live on our own, and set up our own house hold with our own set of kids, that was our challenges. Raising our kids and not spoiling them into getting whatever, whenever they want, setting rules, setting ground limits, respect for one another..another challenge there.
New jobs, school tests, exams, getting our license to drive, our 1st car, another challenge there and so forth. so many of them to mention but these are the few.

Then comes the biggest challenges ever we’re facing, it’s our health.
our health, this is what we need to go through all the other challenges above. If our health is intact then all the other stuff above will be easier for us, if our health is not intact and we’re a complete vegetable in our own beds not able to function, move or do anything then what could we do?

There are so many opportunities out there, and so many people doing their own thing, and I believe that we can all help one another improve our health through this challenge. Which is why I’m continuing to promote my 90 day Health Challenge. Why am I doing this? Because, I know and I believe it works. Why would I go through all this if I didn’t believe it works. It is another challenge, something that a lot of us are looking for better health.

so whose with me then? say I, say like, comment, whatever… what are your goals in life? What are your health goals? What are the challenges you are facing right now and hope to improve within this year? Share with me, and I’ll help you get to where you need to go, if you trust me enough to trust yourself to get there.

Daliyah’s makeup kit

Published February 17, 2012 by Hina

The pictures above says it all.

This is what I get for giving her own makeup set for kids.

She got all into it and just didn’t know when to stop.

Luckily I got a few shots in, before she could try to attempt to remove it off her face.  Lots of scrubbing to do.

but very funny at the same time.

kids will be kids.

How about yours?

end of my 1st 90 day body by vi health challenge

Published February 16, 2012 by Hina

So today is day 89, and tomorrow marks my day 1st day 90 of my 90 day health challenge from Body by vi, Visalus.

I cannot believe how fast time went and how quickly the progress went.   I enjoyed the shakes.  It wasn’t something I regretted, or something that I dread of taking.  It was something routine, that I looked forward to each morning waking up, and going to make my shake and wonder which new recipe to try out and which one to prepare for my families that also were on the challenge.

My migraines are gone completely, no longer suffering from them every single day for hours on end.   I’m thankful for that.  My allergies and asthma have cut back as well, I’m sure it’s from these shakes.  I have more energy, I’m making healthier choices and eating healthier which is great progress.

I still have another challenge to go, to lose more inches off my tummy and hips, waist area and focus on toning my muscles and getting fit and energy.    I shall start my 2nd 90 day challenge next week, hopefully when my free kit comes in.   That’s right, I said free kit!   My kit has been free since December and I’m pretty happy about that.

Feel free to check out the pictures, as well as visiting the following sites for more info on how to get onto the challenge, to improve your life, but improve your health for you.

get your life back on track, with making healthy choices, and eating well and drinking well.

You can start with these shakes that tastes like cake.  They really do.

http://hinasyed.myvi.net  or http://hinasyed.myvi.net/challenge  Either one you can join the challenge, and get in on the opportunities and deals of earning your own free bmw, or earning cash, and winning cash prizes, and tons of contests happening.   This is also the site where to obtain info on the products, their nutritional facts, the list of ingredients and the costs.

vegetable, lentils & bean stew soup

recipe for the baked potatoes

I had 4 poatoes, washed and cut in half.   I put it in the microwave for 5 minutes.

I scooped out the insides and put it into a bowl, I then added 1 Tbsp of gucamole, 1 Tbsp sour cream, 1 Tbsp salsa,  1 tsp ms dash seasoning, and mixed it together.  I added shredded cheese to the mixture as well and some cooked ground beef, about 2 Tbsp mixed it with the mixture and potatoes with a fork till it was blended in.

Then I layed out the potatoes on a baking sheet, lightly brushed with some olive oil, then I scooped the mixture back in, added some more shredded cheese on top, and let it melt in the oven on 350′F for 20 minutes-30 minutes.

it goes well with sour cream, and baby spinach as well.

The recipe for the soup stew.

I just got the slow cooker out, then I added some vegetables, chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, chopped carrots, chopped celery, chopped potatoes, green beans, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, 1 can of bean medley (chick peas, kidney beans, black beans, green beans, white pigeon beans), 1 Tbsp olive oil, then I added water. I added 2 vegetable broth cubes from maggi company, and 2 beef ones and 2 chicken ones. all for flavor. i added some garlic ginger paste (you can use that or powder), some herbs like oregano, italian parsley, etc. black pepper, and red chili powder, some salt. add according to your taste.

then i let that cook for awhile. say 3 hours later, then i added some baby spinach to the pot, and stirred it. then added some orzo pasta to it.

say 3 hours later, you can smell the flavors and the soup as it thickens.

You can add some fresh chopped cilantro to it. then add some more baby spinach to it…wait a few mins…5-10 mins…then you can serve it. this goes well with toast, or buns.
