Turmeric Saffron Chicken 

  
Ingredients: 

1 lb boneless chicken

1 tbsp coconut oil 

1/2 tsp sea salt 

1/2 tsp red chili powder 

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 garlic ginger paste 

1/2 tsp shawarma seasoning 

1 tbsp saffron threads

1/2-1 cup water 

Preparation: 

  1. In a large fry pan add oil and chicken and on medium heat. 
  2. Add spices; sea salt, black pepper, red chili powder, turmeric, garlic ginger paste, shawarma seasonings. Cook for a few minutes until chicken is cooked. 
  3. Add water slowly stirring it in and a sauce forms.  Add saffron threads and stir  
  4. Eat with pita or naan.
