Weekend dinner 


Amazing dinner.   I’ll share the recipes below for each of them with the slideshow above of all of them. 


NOODLES 🍝 

  • A package of Chow Mein Hakka noodles, cooked and drained according to package directions. 
  • In a large pan, add noodles, olive oil, soy sauce and schezwan sauce and on medium heat; stirring often and cook for 10-15 minutes. 
  • You can add cooked eggs to this or serve with chopped cilantro, parsley,  and green onions.  


VEGGIES 🥕🌶🍆

  • A package of mixed variety vegetables added to a large frying pan or wok or large griddle.  
  • Add olive oil, seasonings and spices of garlic ginger paste, red chili powder, turmeric, salt I like to use Himalayan pink salt or sea salt as it’s more flavour able, stirring often on medium heat until it’s cooked about 15 minutes. 


TOMATO CHUTNEY 🍅 

  • Nothing like fresh tomatoes 🍅, you can use canned chopped tomatoes or whole canned tomatoes but fresh tomatoes is healthier. 
  • Get a dozen of chopped tomatoes and add it to a pot and turn the stove on medium low heat. 
  • Add salt, red chili powder, garlic ginger paste, turmeric and olive oil. 
  • Stirring often to prevent it from sticking to the bottom, cook until it’s mushed like after an hour or two. All flavours must blend in and flavourable. 
  • Add some black seeds and cumin zeera seeds along with chopped cilantro and ready to serve. 


SALAD 🥗 

  • I’ve posted many times on how to prepare a colourful, flavourable mixed salad with all of the ingredients above. 
  • I added a mixed salas package along with chopped kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, berries, bell peppers and 2 Kinds of ViBites packages; glorious greens (savoury and spicy 🌶 dehydrated veggies) and fiesta nut 🥜 (savoury and spicy 🌶 mixed nuts). 
  • No dressing is needed. You can just taste this on its own as is with all the flavours of the salad. If you must drizzle with olive, seasonings and spices. 


🐔CHICKEN 🍗 

  • In a large pan add olive oil, 1-2lbs boneless chicken and on medium heat. 
  • Add spices; salt, red chili powder, turmeric, garlic ginger paste and tandoori powder along with some yogurt and water. 
  • Cook for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked all way through and tender. 


BEEF 🐮 

  • This is like the chicken version; however different spices and sauces used to add different taste and flavour. 
  • Add chopped beef strips to a pan on medium heat add 1 onion chopped; and spices; salt, red chili powder, turmeric, garlic ginger paste, and additional is soy sauce, and water to form a sauce and flavours blend in. 
  • Cook for 20-40 minutes until it’s cooked all the way through.  Serve with grilled bell peppers and chopped cilantro on top. 


MEATBALLS 🍖 

  • In a large baking cookie sheet add meatballs and bake until ready. 
  • In a large pot, add oil, spices of salt, red Chili powder, garlic ginger paste, turmeric, cumin powder and coriander powder with water. 
  • Cook until flavours blend and add baked meatballs to this. 
  • Serve. 

My Mom made this one above as I was busy preparing the other meals and recipes.  

RED QUINOA TABBOULI 🌾 

  • In a large pot add water and 1/2 cup or 1 of red quinoa and watch often stirring until it’s cooked. 
  • In a bowl; add 1 bunch chopped cilantro and parsley 
  • Add chopped bell peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers to this.  
  • Add the cooked quinoa mixed with everything else.  
  • Add lemon 🍋 juice, salt and black   pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.  Serve.
