Noodles with chicken, beef & veggies 

INGREDIENTS Noodles:

2 pkg chow mein noodles, cook according to directions on package, set aside
1-2 bell peppers, chopped
1 onion chopped
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 red chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic ginger paste
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 jar of schezwan sauce

Preparation:

1.   In a large wok style pan, or large pan, add oil, and bell peppers, and onions.
2. On medium high heat, cook until its soft and tender, set aside.
3. Add noodles, and keep stirring making sure noodles do not stick together.
4.  Add spices, and soy sauce, as well as the schezwan sauce.
5.  Mix together, making sure all noodles are coated well with the sauces and spices.
6.  Add to a serving dish,  add additional bell peppers & onions on top.
Optional  You can add chopped fresh cilantro on top.

 

 

Beef Ingredients:

2 lbs beef stripped
2 Tbsp soy sauce
spices, such as black pepper, red chili powder, salt, garlic ginger paste, turmeric
olive oil or canola oil 2tbsp

preparation:

1.  In a large fry pan, add the oil, and beef and on medium heat add the spices.
2.  Cook until meat is tender, and add the soy sauce and 1/2 cup water.
3.  When the meat is done, add to a serving platter, and decorate/garnish with veggies/bell peppers and onions.

 

Chicken Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless chicken, cut into cubes
2 tbsp canola or olive oil
1/2 tsp himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tbsp garlic ginger paste
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 jar of pad thai sauce
1 tsp mrs dash seasonings
1/2 tsp onion powder

chopped bell peppers, onions, lightly sauteed and set aside for garnish/decoration a top, and cilantro.

Preparation:

1.  In a large pan, add chicken, oil, and the spices. cook on medium heat.
2.  Make sure chicken is done, and cooked through.
3.  Add soy sauce, and pad thai sauce, as well as 1/2 cup-1 cup water.
4.  Continue on medium heat, until a sauce forms.    Add to serving platter, and garnish with bell peppers, onions, and cilantro.

Veggies:

Ingredients:

1 pkg mix veg variety stir fry
2 Tbsp canola oil
1 tsp mrs. dash seasonings
1 /2 tsp garlic ginger paste
1/2 tsp himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp red chili powder

Preparation:

1.  In a large fry pan, add oil, and veggies.
2.  On medium heat, keep cooking until veggies are soft, tender.
3.  Add spices and seasonings.
4.  Add soy sauce, and mix all the way through.
5. Add to serving dish.
6.  Serve along with the noodles, chicken, or beef, or rice.

Baked Potatoes & Veggies & Salad

Baked Potatoes, Cauliflower & Carrots with Mixed Fields Greens Salad

Ingredients:

In a large casserole baking dish, drizzle with olive oil.    Then add some chopped potatoes, 2 cups of cauliflower, and carrots to dish.

Sprinkle some lemon garlic seasonings over on top.     Add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce with 1 cup of water mix the mixture together, and pour on top of the vegetables.    Add another 1/2 cup of water and making sure the vegetables are completely covered.

Bake in the oven on 450’F until vegetables are tender, about 45 minutes.

In another bowl, as these are baking, add a package of mixed field greens salad to it, then add some cherry tomatoes, chopped bell peppers, some mixed berries to the salad.   Drizzle some olive oil, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper.

Get some toasted pita bread, and add that over the salad, drizzling yogurt over it.

You may add 1/2 cup of yogurt, to 1/2 cup of water and mix it up, then add your own seasonings to this, adding it over the salad.

When the baked vegetables are ready, you may serve this, along with the salad.

Grilled Chicken with Shawarma seasonings & Grilled Veggies

This is what I had for dinner the other night.  Took just 20 minutes to prepare, but everything was done within minutes.  My kids loved it so much, that they asked me to make it again.  So, I’ll be making it another night, but with some tandoori, and some other veggies around.

Shawarma seasoning is a bottle I bought from Wild-tree (organic seasonings), but here is the recipe for the seasonings in it;

Ingredients:
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp Himalayan pink salt

Directions:
Just cut up some chicken breast into half, drizzle olive oil on both sides, then add the seasonings above, and grill it on a griller until chicken is done on both sides, and all around, add the chopped veggies; chopped bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and eggplant, grill for a few minutes.
Serve it onto a serving platter.
Decorate it with fresh cilantro, parsley.

Dinner: grilled chicken with shawarma seasonings & onion rub & olive oil with grilled veggies. Took 20 mins. Smells wonderful. Tastes good. I decorated on top with parsley & cilantro.
